Good middle-class inn and restaurant with friendly service. A large children's playground ensures a pleasant, quiet stay for families. Very reasonable prices and ample portions.
Delicious cheese spaetzle, dear waitress, rustic atmosphere.
Great food and great service !!!
Good home cooking
Good food, good service, a nice place!
We had a nice meal here on the terrace. Very child-friendly. The very little ones get free food (our granddaughter is two) with soft drinks (wide choice) and for the slightly larger children there is a children's menu. There is also a nice playground.
The best restaurant in the Elztal and the surrounding area! Wonderful beer garden, excellent value for money, friendly staff, excellent food, important for us, the meat fried to the point (rare, medium rare and medium) is unfortunately only rarely experienced. Conclusion: Highly recommended, also for families, gladly again next time you visit the Black Forest *****
Nice beer garden, tasty food and friendly, courteous service.
The food was great
Very cozy beer garden, friendly staff and good food. I am happy to recommend.
Quiet inn, nice service and delicious meals
Perfect for families. Great playground for children. Very good home cooking. Good price / performance ratio. Very friendly staff. Always my pleasure.
The food was very good. Also a good card for children. Enough choice, also for a good price. The service .... mmmmm ... we found the hostess a little less pleasant. We had the idea that when you ask for something, it is perceived as whining. She made a rushed and unfriendly impression. Maybe not consciously, but that's how it came across to us. But despite that the food was really good and the price quality also fine.
Food very good ... service exemplary ... top
Very cozy in the beer garden and reasonably priced
Tasty food at reasonable price. Free car parking outside
Don't be fooled by the exterior of the Black Forest courtyard. Inside, the guest can expect a nice, traditional dining room with a cozy adjoining room. The innkeepers pay attention to atmosphere and appealing decorations and are very family and child friendly. There is also a children's menu for the diverse Swabian menu. The food was served quickly, very friendly and attentively. Wild boar ragout and sliced ββveal cream tasted excellent and delicious. The portions were so large that the landlady put them on a fresh, second plate from the Rechaud. All of this at an absolutely fair price. In summer there is a large beer garden in front of the house and lots of play equipment for children. Three steps in the entrance area, otherwise everything is accessible at ground level. WiFi free of charge (ask for password). Full points!
Little choice, high prices, bad food. Schnitzel floats in butter. Spaetzle was warmed up in the microwave, sliced ββmeat was tasteless. Service was very nice and polite.
Food was okay but not outstanding for the price. The fries with three were very sparse. And the ordered drink would have to come now .. have probably not caught the best day
The meat was really perfect, staff very friendly. The prices a bit high but justified. Gladly again.
The staff in the Black Forest hotel is very friendly. The food comes quickly to the table. My pepper steak was not optimal because there was too much pepper on it. My wife's pork chops tasted very good. The French fries for the kids were not very plentiful so rather order the large portion of fries.
Overall very good. We were late arriving for lunch (ca. 14:30) but they still made us something hot to eat. The service was very friendly, and they allowed us to recharge the batteries of our e-bikes. The bier-garden is a really nice place to sit and have lunch.
